The blessed lord said,
Whence this faint-heartedness, at this perilous juncture,
Ignoble, inadequate, unrighteous, inglorious, O Arjun?
Source: Milind S. Pandit
The Supreme Lord said: How has the dejection come to you at this juncture? This is not fit for an Aryan (or the people of noble mind and deeds). It is disgraceful, and it does not lead one to heaven, O Arjuna.
The Supreme Person [Bhagavan] said: My dear Arjuna, how have these impurities come upon you? They are not at all befitting a man who knows the progressive values of life. They do not lead to higher planets, but to infamy.
