एषा तेऽभिहिता सांख्ये बुद्धिर्योगे त्विमां शृणु ।
बुद्ध्या युक्तो यया पार्थ कर्मबन्धं प्रहास्यसि ॥२- ३९॥

eShaa te'bhihitaa saaMkhye buddhiryoge twimaaM shRRiNu ।

buddhyaa yukto yayaa paartha karmabandhaM prahaasyasi ॥२- ३९॥

But hear this wisdom, articulated to you in Sankhya, in yoga next.
Adhered to which wisdom, O son of Prithaa, you will cast off action-bonds.

The wisdom of Saamkhya (or the knowledge of the Self) has been imparted to you, O Arjuna. Now listen to the wisdom of Karma-yoga endowed with which you will free yourself from the bondage of Karma.
