Transliteration

yatato hyapi kaunteya puruShasya wipashchitaH ।

indriyaaNi pramaathiini haranti prasabhaM manaH ॥२- ६०॥

Translation

O son of Kunti, even of the striving, discriminating person,
The agitating senses violently carry off the mind.

Translation

Restless senses, O Arjuna, forcibly carry away the mind of even a wise person striving for perfection.

Translation

The senses are so strong and impetuous, O Arjuna, that they forcibly carry away the mind even of a man of discrimination who is endeavoring to control them.
