देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा ।
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥२- १३॥
dehino'sminyathaa dehe kaumaaraM yauwanaM jaraa ।
tathaa dehaantarapraaptirdhiirastatra na muhyati ॥२- १३॥

As for the embodied one, in this body, childhood, youth, old age,
So acquisition of another body. The resolute are not confused by that.

Just as the Atma acquires a childhood body, a youth body, and an old age body during this life, similarly Atma acquires another body after death. The wise are not deluded by this. (See also 15.08)
As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A self-realized soul is not bewildered by such a change.
