yaanewa hatwaa na jijiiwiShaama- ste'wasthitaaH pramukhe dhaartaraaShTraaH ॥२- ६॥

Translation

Nor is it known which of these is better: whether we win or whether we do not win.
The very ones, whom killing, we would not wish to live, those sons of Dhritarashtra stand facing us.

Translation

Neither do we know which alternative (to beg or to kill) is better for us, nor do we know whether we shall conquer them or they will conquer us. We should not even wish to live after killing the sons of Dhritaraashtra who are standing in front of us.

Translation

Nor do we know which is better--conquering them or being conquered by them. The sons of Dhrtarastra, whom if we kill we should not care to live, are now standing before us on this battlefield.
