ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते ।
सङ्गात्संजायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते ॥२- ६२॥
dhyaayato wiShayaanpuMsaH sa~NgasteShoopajaayate ।
sa~NgaatsaMjaayate kaamaH kaamaatkrodho'bhijaayate ॥२- ६२॥

A person having dwelt upon objects, attachment is born in them.
From attachment arises greed. From greed is produced anger.

One develops attachment to sense objects by thinking about sense objects. Desire for sense objects comes from attachment to sense objects, and anger comes from unfulfilled desires.
While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.
