संजय उवाच
एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशं गुडाकेशः परन्तप ।
न योत्स्य इति गोविन्दमुक्त्वा तूष्णीं बभूव ह ॥२- ९॥

saMjaya uwaacha

ewamuktwaa hRRiShiikeshaM guDaakeshaH parantapa ।

na yotsya iti gowindamuktwaa tooShNiiM babhoowa ha ॥२- ९॥

Sanjay said,
So said to Hrishikesh Gudakesh. Foe-scorcher
Saying so: "I will not attack" to Govind, had become utterly silent.

Sanjay said,
So Gudakesh said to Hrishikesh. Foe-scorcher said to Govinda so: "I will not attack." [and] had become utterly silent.
