कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः ।
जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ॥२- ५१॥

karmajaM buddhiyuktaa hi phalaM tyaktwaa maniiShiNaH ।

janmabandhawinirmuktaaH padaM gachChantyanaamayam ॥२- ५१॥

Wisdom-adherent sages who abandon fruits born of action,
Liberated from the bonds of birth, go to the state beyond evils.

Wise Karma-yogis, possessed with mental poise by renouncing the attachment to the fruits of work, are indeed freed from the bondage of rebirth and attain the blissful divine state.
