यस्त्विन्द्रियाणि मनसा नियम्यारभतेऽर्जुन ।
कर्मेन्द्रियैः कर्मयोगमसक्तः स विशिष्यते ॥३- ७॥
yastwindriyaaNi manasaa niyamyaarabhate'rjuna ।
karmendriyaiH karmayogamasaktaH sa wishiShyate ॥३- ७॥

But, one who, perceptions in the mind disciplined, holds to, O Arjuna,
With the perceptions motivating action, action-yoga, unattached, that one distinguishes.
O Arjuna, one distinguishes oneself by using the mind to discipline the very perceptions that motivate action, adhering to action-yoga, unattached [to results].

The one who controls the senses by the (trained and purified) mind and intellect, and engages the organs of action to Nishkaama Karma-yoga, is superior, O Arjuna.
On the other hand, he who controls the senses by the mind and engages his active organs in works of devotion, without attachment, is by far superior.
