श्रद्धावाननसूयश्च शृणुयादपि यो नरः ।
सोऽपि मुक्तः शुभाँल्लोकान्प्राप्नुयात्पुण्यकर्मणाम् ॥१८- ७१॥
श्रद्धावाननसूयश्च शृणुयादपि यो नरः ।

shraddhaawaananasooyashcha shRRiNuyaadapi yo naraH ।
so'pi muktaH shubhaa.NllokaanpraapnuyaatpuNyakarmaNaam ॥१८- ७१॥

That faithful and respectful man who even hears [this],
It is that person who achieves the beautiful liberated spheres of the virtue-earners.

Whoever hears this with faith and without cavil becomes free from sin, and attains heaven (or the higher regions for those whose actions are pure).
And one who listens with faith and without envy becomes free from sinful reactions and attains to the planets where the pious dwell.
