Heroism, radiance, courage, skill, not fleeing even from battle,
Generosity and lordliness are kshatriya acts deriving from [their] character.

Those having the qualities of heroism, vigor, firmness, dexterity, not fleeing from battle, charity, and administrative skills are called Kshatriyas, the protectors.
Heroism, power, determination, resourcefulness, courage in battle, generosity, and leadership are the qualities of work for the ksatriyas.
