तपस्विभ्योऽधिको योगी ज्ञानिभ्योऽपि मतोऽधिकः ।
कर्मिभ्यश्चाधिको योगी तस्माद्योगी भवार्जुन ॥६- ४६॥
तपस्विभ्योऽधिको योगी ज्ञानिभ्योऽपि मतोऽधिकः ।
कर्मिभ्यश्चाधिको योगी तस्माद्योगी भवार्जुन ॥६- ४६॥
tapaswibhyo'dhiko yogii dnyaanibhyo'pi mato'dhikaH ।
karmibhyashchaadhiko yogii tasmaadyogii bhawaarjuna ॥६- ४६॥

Superior to the ascetic is the yogi, to the knowledgable also superior,
Superior to the worker even is the yogi. Therefore, a yogi be, Arjuna.

The yogi is superior to the ascetics. The yogi is superior to the (Vedic) scholars. The yogi is superior to the ritualists. Therefore, O Arjuna, be a yogi.
A yogi is greater than the ascetic, greater than the empiricist and greater than the fruitive worker. Therefore, O Arjuna, in all circumstances, be a yogi.
