Translation

Thus, being wise to the Self superior to wisdom, establishing the self in the Self,
Vanquish the foe, O great-armed one, appearing as lust, forbidding.

Thus, O great-armed one, with the wisdom of the Self that is superior to wisdom, establishing the self in the Self, vanquish the forbidding foe in the form of lust.

Translation

Thus, knowing the Atma to be superior to the intellect, and controlling the mind by the intellect (that is purified by Jnana), one must kill this mighty enemy, Kaama, O Arjuna.

Translation

Thus knowing oneself to be transcendental to material senses, mind and intelligence, one should control the lower self by the higher self and thus--by spiritual strength--conquer this insatiable enemy known as lust.
