सक्ताः कर्मण्यविद्वांसो यथा कुर्वन्ति भारत ।
कुर्याद्विद्वांस्तथासक्तश्चिकीर्षुर्लोकसंग्रहम् ॥३- २५॥

saktaaH karmaNyawidwaaMso yathaa kurwanti bhaarata ।

kuryaadwidwaaMstathaasaktashchikiirShurlokasaMgraham ॥३- २५॥

As attached actions the unwise perform, O scion of Bharat,
So the wise act unattached, desiring to effect universal welfare.

O scion of Bharat, as the unwise perform actions with attachment, so the wise act without attachment, in the interest of universal welfare.
