अजोऽपि सन्नव्ययात्मा भूतानामीश्वरोऽपि सन् ।
प्रकृतिं स्वामधिष्ठाय संभवाम्यात्ममायया ॥४-६॥
ajo'pi sannawyayaatmaa bhootaanaamiishwaro'pi san ।
prakRRitiM swaamadhiShThaaya saMbhawaamyaatmamaayayaa ॥४-६॥

Even being birthless, even being the imperishable-souled lord of beings,
By requirement of My nature, I manifest Myself by My supernatural power.

Though I am eternal, imperishable, and the Lord of all beings; yet I (voluntarily) manifest by controlling My own material nature using My Yoga-Maya. (See also 10.14)
Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all sentient beings, I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form.
