त्यक्त्वा कर्मफलासङ्गं नित्यतृप्तो निराश्रयः ।
कर्मण्यभिप्रवृत्तोऽपि नैव किंचित्करोति सः ॥४-२०॥

Abandoning attachment to action-fruits, always content, non-refugee,
Even though engaged in actions, he does not a bit.
Abandoning attachment to the results of action, always content, self-sufficient, though he may be engaged in actions, he [actually] does not the slightest thing.

Having abandoned attachment to the fruits of work, ever content, and dependent on no one (but God); though engaged in activity, one does nothing at all (and incurs no Karmic reaction).
Abandoning all attachment to the results of his activities, ever satisfied and independent, he performs no fruitive action, although engaged in all kinds of undertakings.
