जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ।
त्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुन ॥४-९॥

My birth and action: one who realizes the divine reality of this,
On leaving body is not reborn but comes to me, O Arjun.
O Arjun, one who realizes the divine reality of My birth and action is not reborn upon leaving the body, but comes to Me.

The one who truly understands My transcendental birth and activities (of creation, maintenance, and dissolution), is not born again after leaving this body and attains My abode, O Arjuna.
One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.
