मम योनिर्महद्ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम् ।
संभवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥१४- ३॥
mama yonirmahadbrahma tasmingarbhaM dadhaamyaham ।
saMbhawaH sarwabhootaanaaM tato bhawati bhaarata ॥१४- ३॥

O Arjuna, My Prakriti (or the material nature) is the womb wherein I place the seed (of spirit or Purusha) from which all beings are born. (See also 9.10)
The total material substance, called Brahman, is the source of birth, and it is that Brahman that I impregnate, making possible the births of all living beings, O son of Bharata.
