मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।
यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ॥७- ३॥
manuShyaaNaaM sahasreShu kashchidyatati siddhaye ।
yatataamapi siddhaanaaM kashchinmaaM wetti tattwataH ॥७- ३॥

Among thousands of people, a few may endeavor for accomplishment,
Among those who accomplish endeavor, just a few understand me.

Scarcely one out of thousands of persons strives for perfection of Self-realization. Scarcely any one of the striving, or even the perfected persons, truly understands Me.
Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth.
