अन्तवत्तु फलं तेषां तद्भवत्यल्पमेधसाम् ।
देवान्देवयजो यान्ति मद्भक्ता यान्ति मामपि ॥७- २३॥
antawattu phalaM teShaaM tadbhawatyalpamedhasaam ।
dewaandewayajo yaanti madbhaktaa yaanti maamapi ॥७- २३॥

Fruits with limitations become manifest for those of small intellect.
Those attached to gods come to the gods—my devotees come to [none but] me.

Such (material) gains of these less intelligent human beings are temporary. The worshipers of Devas go to Devas, but My devotees come to Me.
Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.
