तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्तिर्विशिष्यते ।
प्रियो हि ज्ञानिनोऽत्यर्थमहं स च मम प्रियः ॥७- १७॥
तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्तिर्विशिष्यते ।

teShaaM dnyaanii nityayukta ekabhaktirwishiShyate ।
priyo hi dnyaanino'tyarthamahaM sa cha mama priyaH ॥७- १७॥

Of them, the knowledgeable, ever-joined, singularly devoted, distinguishes,
Extremely dear to the knowledgeable am I, and they to Me.

Among them the wise one, who is ever united with Me and whose devotion is single minded, is the best. Because, I am very dear to the wise, and the wise is very dear to Me.
Of these, the wise one who is in full knowledge in union with Me through pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.
