ये चैव सात्त्विका भावा राजसास्तामसाश्च ये ।
मत्त एवेति तान्विद्धि न त्वहं तेषु ते मयि ॥७- १२॥

ye chaiwa saattwikaa bhaawaa raajasaastaamasaashcha ye ।

matta eweti taanwiddhi na twahaM teShu te mayi ॥७- १२॥

And even these sattvic things, rajasic and those tamasic,
Know them to come from Me indeed. I am not in them—they [are] in me.

Know that the three Gunas, Saattvika, Raajasika, and Taamasika, also emanate from Me. I am not in (or dependent on) the Gunas, but the Gunas are in (or dependent on) Me. (See also 9.04 and 9.05)
