9:24  

अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च ।
न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते ॥९- २४॥

ahaM hi sarwayadnyaanaaM bhoktaa cha prabhurewa cha ।

na tu maamabhijaananti tattwenaatashchyawanti te ॥९- २४॥

And it is I who am the consumer and lord of all sacrifices.
Whoever does not comprehend Me, they are truly lost.

Because I alone am the enjoyer of all Yajna, and the Lord. But, people do not know My true transcendental nature. Therefore, they fall (into the repeated cycles of birth and death).
