ब्रह्मण्याधाय कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा करोति यः ।
लिप्यते न स पापेन पद्मपत्रमिवाम्भसा ॥५- १०॥

brahmaNyaadhaaya karmaaNi sa~NgaM tyaktwaa karoti yaH ।

lipyate na sa paapena padmapatramiwaambhasaa ॥५- १०॥

Whoever acts, abandoning attachment, dedicating all actions to Brahman,

That one is not trapped by sin, like a lotus leaf in water.

One who does all work as an offering to the Lord, abandoning attachment to the results, is as untouched by sin (or Karmic reaction) as a lotus leaf is untouched by water.
