क्लेशोऽधिकतरस्तेषामव्यक्तासक्तचेतसाम् ।
अव्यक्ता हि गतिर्दुःखं देहवद्भिरवाप्यते ॥१२- ५॥
klesho'dhikatarasteShaamawyaktaasaktachetasaam ।
awyaktaa hi gatirduHkhaM dehawadbhirawaapyate ॥१२- ५॥

Embodied ones attain the unmanifest goal only painstakingly.

Self-realization is more difficult for those who fix their mind on the formless Brahman, because the comprehension of the unmanifest Brahman by the average embodied human being is very difficult.
For those whose minds are attached to the unmanifested, impersonal feature of the Supreme, advancement is very troublesome. To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied.
