अनपेक्षः शुचिर्दक्ष उदासीनो गतव्यथः ।
सर्वारम्भपरित्यागी यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः ॥१२- १६॥
anapekShaH shuchirdakSha udaasiino gatawyathaH ।
sarwaarambhaparityaagii yo madbhaktaH sa me priyaH ॥१२- १६॥

Unassuming, pure, wise, stoic, unanxious,
Who has renounced agency in all undertakings, such a devotee of mine is dear to me.

One who is free from desires; who is pure, wise, impartial, and free from anxiety; who has renounced (the doership in) all undertakings; and who is devoted to Me, is dear to Me.
A devotee who is not dependent on the ordinary course of activities, who is pure, expert, without cares, free from all pains, and who does not strive for some result, is very dear to Me.
