यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोऽहमक्षरादपि चोत्तमः ।
अतोऽस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथितः पुरुषोत्तमः ॥१५- १८॥

yasmaatkSharamatiito'hamakSharaadapi chottamaH ।

ato'smi loke wede cha prathitaH puruShottamaH ॥१५- १८॥

I transcend this perishable, and [am] beyond even the imperishable.
Therefore, in the world, am I known and celebrated [as] the supreme person.
